  3. This is a long-overdue update to the Freeware series of CD's.  To
  4. prevent the CD from getting stale in the future, we will update the CD
  5. at least every six months.  However, since new CD's will only be
  6. shipped out of the factory with new systems, we have set up a web site
  7. that will be more current than the CD, so if you need the latest and
  8. greatest version of something, check the URL below for newer versions.

  11. If there is anything you would like to see added to the Freeware
  12. distribution, please send us email.  If you are having any problems,
  13. send us email.  If we do not know that something is broken, we cannot
  14. fix it!

  22. fw_perl5 is not on this particular CD, because the latest perl5 version
  23. is currently available on the web from Scott Henry's home page.  We
  24. will eventually get this onto the Freeware CD, but time constraints
  25. prohibit us from doing so at this time.
